JMC Shunda 17.5 m Telescopic Boom Aerial Work Platform

The JMC Shunda 17.5 m telescopic boom aerial work platform is designed for overhead maintenance, utility services, and municipal operations. Built on a compact 4×2 light-duty chassis, it combines a three-section telescopic boom, hydraulic stabilization system, and intelligent controls to provide safe and efficient access for a wide range of elevated working applications.

Smooth and Precise Aerial Working Performance

The three-section synchronized telescopic boom provides a maximum working height of 17.5 meters with a horizontal outreach of up to 10.5 meters. Manufactured from high-strength structural steel, the boom delivers excellent rigidity and stable movement, while the 360° continuous slewing system and ±90° rotating work platform improve access to difficult working positions.

Advanced Hydraulic and Intelligent Control System

The electro-hydraulic proportional control system, combined with CAN Bus communication technology, provides smooth and accurate boom movements. Operators can control all working functions from the ground station, work platform, or wireless remote controller. Built-in safety functions, including overload protection, emergency hydraulic operation, and motion interlocks, help ensure reliable performance throughout every operation.

Stable Outrigger and Safety Protection System

Front V-type and rear H-type hydraulic outriggers provide a stable working platform on uneven ground. Automatic chassis leveling, inclination monitoring, and safety alarms continuously monitor operating conditions, while the interlock system prevents unsafe movements and enhances operator confidence during elevated work.

Compact Chassis with Excellent Mobility

Built on the JMC Shunda light-duty chassis, the vehicle features a compact 2,800 mm wheelbase and an overall length of less than 6 meters, making it easy to operate in city streets, residential areas, industrial facilities, and confined working environments. The proven Euro III diesel engine delivers dependable performance while eliminating the need for AdBlue, reducing maintenance requirements in many export markets.

Versatile Solution for Municipal and Utility Operations

Designed for street lighting maintenance, telecommunications, power utilities, building maintenance, billboard installation, and tree pruning, the platform combines efficient aerial performance with practical daily operation. Optional equipment such as an insulated work platform, larger platform capacity, lifting hook, and onboard power supply allows the vehicle to meet different customer requirements and working conditions.
