The FAW J6L compactor garbage truck is designed for efficient, reliable, and hygienic municipal waste collection and transportation. The compactor features a body volume of 16–18 m³ with a compression ratio of 3.5:1, allowing for a rated payload of up to 10,200 kg. This significantly reduces waste transport frequency and improves efficiency for large urban or industrial waste management operations.
Durable Structure and Materials
The body is constructed from Q345 high-strength manganese steel or optional T420 steel, featuring 5 mm thick panels, 6 mm floor, and 4 mm side walls. This robust structure ensures long-term durability and resistance to wear, even under intensive, continuous loading cycles.
Advanced Hydraulic and Control System
The hydraulic system operates at a working pressure of 21 MPa, powered by a 80 L/min high-efficiency pump. It supports manual and electric control, with an optional remote control system for safer, more flexible operation. Compression and lifting cycles are designed for speed and precision — compression within 25 seconds and bin lifting within 15 seconds.
Safe and Reliable Operation
Multiple safety devices are integrated, including emergency stop buttons, operational buzzer alerts, hydraulic circuit protection, safety prop rods, and hopper anti-drop interlocks. These ensure operator safety and equipment reliability during heavy-duty use.
Optimized Tailgate and Sealing Design
The swing-type tailgate adopts a double-peak dual rubber sealing system with an adjustable compensating seal, preventing leakage and odor. Its high-pressure tolerance of 21 MPa ensures excellent sealing under compression load.
Flexible Garbage Bin Compatibility
The hydraulic lifting system supports multiple bin types and capacities — 240 L, 300 L, 600 L, 800 L, 660 L, and 1100 L — providing operational flexibility for various urban environments. Each lifting operation supports up to 750 kg.
Chassis Reliability and Power
Mounted on the Jiefang CA1250 6×4 chassis, the truck is powered by a 350 hp CA6DK2-35E65 engine paired with a FAW CA10TAX160M 10+2 transmission. With a GVW of 25,000 kg, the vehicle offers strong traction and stable handling across diverse terrains.
