The FAW J5 CA1250 water tanker is designed for efficient water transport, spraying, and dust suppression. With a durable Q235 steel tank, high-capacity centrifugal pump, and versatile water distribution system, it ensures reliable performance for municipal, construction, and landscaping operations.
Robust Tank Design
The tanker features a 18 m³ tank measuring 6250×2300×1600 mm, constructed with 5 mm Q235 steel. Two internal baffles reduce liquid movement during transit, improving stability and safety on uneven roads.
High-Efficiency Pump System
Equipped with the 80QZ60/90 centrifugal pump, the system delivers 60 m³/h with a lift of 90 meters. Its self-priming capability of up to 6 meters allows quick start-up and consistent water flow for spraying or filling tasks.
Versatile Water Distribution
Water can be sprayed to the front at distances of 16 meters or directed to rear and side outlets. A rear platform-mounted water cannon reaches 30 meters, supporting dust control, irrigation, and emergency response.
Reliable Chassis and Powertrain
Built on the FAW J5 CA1250 6×4 chassis, the tanker is powered by a CA6DK1-32E6 engine producing 320 hp, paired with a CA9TB160M 9-speed manual gearbox. With a GVW of 25,000 kg and curb weight of 10,500–11,000 kg, the vehicle provides a stable platform for heavy water loads.
Stability and Mobility
The 4350+1350 mm wheelbase, along with front/rear tracks of 1928 mm / 1878 / 1878 mm, and 11.00R20 18PR tires, ensures excellent stability, traction, and maneuverability across various road conditions.
