The HOWO 18-ton water tanker is designed for urban sanitation, dust suppression, and fire-fighting support. With a high-capacity tank, versatile water distribution system, and durable chassis, it delivers efficient and reliable performance in various municipal and industrial applications.
Large-Capacity Tank
Equipped with a 15,000 L tank measuring 4800×2350×1450 mm, the tanker features a 5 mm Q235 steel construction with two internal baffles to reduce water sloshing during transit. The tank inlet is DN80, and the outlets include four DN50 ports with quick couplings for rapid water discharge.
High-Performance Pump System
The 80QZ60/90 self-priming centrifugal pump provides a maximum flow rate of 60 m³/h, enabling effective water spraying, firefighting, and irrigation operations. Its self-priming capability ensures reliable performance under varying water levels.
Efficient Water Distribution
The tanker features multiple water delivery methods: a front spray system with a 14 m reach, rear fan nozzles reaching up to 10 m, and a water cannon capable of 28 m projection. This versatile setup allows operators to cover large areas and handle a variety of tasks efficiently.
Optional Features
While standard, the vehicle provides reliable water transport and distribution, additional customization can be added based on operational requirements, such as remote-controlled valves or specialized nozzles.
Reliable Chassis and Powertrain
Built on the SINOTRUK HOWO ZZ1187 4×2 chassis, the tanker is powered by a Weichai WP6H270E61 engine delivering 199 kW (270 hp), paired with a 10-speed manual gearbox (HW19710). The 18,000 kg GVW and 7,530 kg curb weight ensure stability and smooth performance under full load.
