Dongfeng D913 4×2 12 m³ Water Tanker Truck
The Dongfeng D913 4×2 water tanker truck is designed for water transport, road spraying, dust suppression, municipal cleaning, and landscaping irrigation. Built on the Dongfeng EQ1160GD3DJ chassis and powered by a Cummins ISB5.9-190 Euro III engine, it combines a 12,000-liter water tank with a PTO-driven self-priming pump and multiple water distribution functions.
12 m³ Water Tank with Anti-Surge Baffles
The tank provides an effective capacity of 12,000 liters and uses Q235-B carbon steel construction with a 4 mm shell and 5 mm end plates. Three transverse anti-surge baffles help limit water movement during acceleration, braking, and cornering, while the 500 mm lockable manhole and anti-slip access ladder simplify filling, inspection, and maintenance.
Cummins 190 HP Heavy-Duty Powertrain
The Dongfeng Cummins ISB5.9-190 inline six-cylinder diesel engine produces 140 kW (190 HP) and 720 N·m of torque. The turbocharged and intercooled engine is paired with a FAST 8JS75C eight-speed manual transmission and reinforced 4×2 chassis, providing suitable low-speed torque for loaded water delivery and road operations.
High-Flow Self-Priming Water Pump
The 65QZ-50/110 centrifugal pump delivers a rated flow of 50 m³/h and a head of 110 meters, with a maximum suction depth of at least 7 meters. PTO-driven operation allows the tanker to draw water from ponds, rivers, reservoirs, storage tanks, and fire hydrant connections for different filling and distribution requirements.
Multi-Function Water Spraying System
The vehicle supports front road flushing, side irrigation, rear spraying, and rear water cannon operation. Adjustable front nozzles provide a washing width of at least 14 meters, while the manually operated rear cannon offers 360° horizontal rotation and a straight-jet range of at least 28 meters for dust suppression, landscaping, and emergency water spraying.
Independent Water Circuit Control
The water distribution system uses DN65 galvanized steel piping with independently controlled valves for front flushing, rear spraying, the water cannon, and tank drainage. Optional cab-mounted pneumatic or electric controls can centralize operation of the spraying functions, improving convenience during repeated municipal and construction-site work.
