Foton Aumark 4×2 18-Ton Flatbed Tow Truck with Wheel-Lift
The Foton Aumark 4×2 flatbed tow truck is designed for vehicle recovery, roadside assistance, and transportation of disabled passenger cars, SUVs, light commercial vehicles, and other wheeled equipment. Its hydraulic sliding flatbed and rear wheel-lift system provide two recovery methods on a single 18,000 kg-class chassis.
Hydraulic Sliding Flatbed for Low-Angle Loading
The three-section hydraulic flatbed provides an extended length of up to 8.2 meters, with an optional extension reaching approximately 9.6 meters. The front section tilts to a loading angle of no more than 11°, allowing vehicles with relatively low ground clearance to be loaded more easily when their condition permits self-loading.
Rear Wheel-Lift for Secondary Recovery
The three-section telescopic rear wheel-lift has a rated capacity of up to 8,000 kg at the support point and a telescopic stroke of approximately 1,300 mm. L-shaped wheel clamps, tow forks, fork mounts, and auxiliary dollies provide flexible connection options for passenger cars, SUVs, and light-duty commercial vehicles.
PTO-Driven Hydraulic Recovery System
The recovery equipment uses a PTO-driven 50 mL/r gear pump with a rated hydraulic working pressure of 16 MPa. The system powers the flatbed lifting and extension functions, wheel-lift movement, stabilizers, and the 6-ton hydraulic winch, which provides a rated pulling force of 60 kN through a 16 mm steel wire rope.
Foton Aumark Euro III Heavy-Duty Chassis
The vehicle is based on the Foton BJ1186VKPFK-A chassis with a 4×2 rear-wheel-drive configuration and is powered by the Dongfeng Cummins ISDe185-30 engine, producing 136 kW (185 HP) and 650 N·m of torque. The FAST 8JS85E eight-speed manual transmission, reinforced frame, heavy-duty axles, and multi-leaf suspension provide support for recovery and transport work.
Complete Recovery Equipment Configuration
Standard recovery equipment includes auxiliary dollies, wheel clamps, tow forks, wheel chocks, tie-down straps, chains, pulleys, and a side-mounted toolbox. Optional equipment includes wireless hydraulic control, ABS, reversing camera, air conditioning, removable cargo-side boards, and cold-weather starting equipment for specific export applications.
