The JMC Shunda 4×2 aerial work platform truck combines a double-cab light-duty chassis with a 16 m articulated boom and four-point H-type hydraulic outrigger system. It is designed for street-light maintenance, utility work, telecommunications installation, building service, advertising installation, and other elevated maintenance operations.
16 m Articulated Boom for Elevated Access
The three-section articulated boom provides a maximum working height of 16 meters and a horizontal outreach of up to 6.3 meters. The 360° continuous hydraulic slewing system allows the platform to cover a wide working area, while the articulated configuration improves access around buildings, poles, and other obstacles.
Stable H-Type Hydraulic Outriggers
Four independent H-type hydraulic outriggers establish a stable working footprint before boom operation. Front and rear spans of 2,700 mm and 2,900 mm, together with individual outrigger adjustment, help the operator adapt the vehicle to different ground conditions. Boom and outrigger interlocks prevent aerial operation before the required support condition is established.
200 kg Personnel Platform with Safety Controls
The steel work basket has a rated load of 200 kg and accommodates two operators with tools. It features an anti-slip floor, full guardrail, safety gate, harness anchorage points, and overload protection. Ground and platform control stations provide flexible operation, while emergency stop and limit protection improve control during elevated work.
Reliable Hydraulic and Emergency Systems
The aerial device uses a 16 MPa open-circuit hydraulic system with a gear pump, counterbalance valves, hydraulic outrigger locks, and high-pressure hoses. A dedicated emergency manual pump allows the boom and outriggers to be safely stowed when the main hydraulic power source is unavailable.
JMC Shunda Double-Cab Chassis
Built on the JMC JX1060TSG23 chassis, the vehicle uses a 4×2 rear-wheel-drive configuration and a 2.77-liter JX493ZLQ3 engine producing 85 kW (115 PS) and 285 N·m of torque. The five-speed manual transmission, heavy-duty leaf springs, hydraulic power steering, and 5.7-ton GVW provide a practical platform for urban aerial service applications.
