The Dongfeng D7 4×2 aerial work platform truck is designed for street-light maintenance, utility service, telecommunications work, building maintenance, and other elevated operations. Built on the EQ1070GJ9AD3 chassis, it combines a three-section articulated boom, four hydraulic outriggers, and dual operating stations for controlled access at working heights of up to 16 meters.
16 m Articulated Boom Working System
The three-section articulated boom provides a maximum working height of 16 meters and a horizontal outreach of up to 7.5 meters. Hydraulic articulation and 360° continuous slewing allow the platform to reach work areas around buildings, utility poles, and other obstacles while maintaining flexible positioning.
Four-Point H-Type Hydraulic Outriggers
Four independent H-type hydraulic outriggers establish the working footprint before boom deployment. The system provides a maximum lateral spread of approximately 2,930 mm and a longitudinal spread of about 5,200 mm, while hydraulic locks help maintain outrigger position during elevated operations.
200 kg Personnel Platform
The aerial platform measures 1,200 × 600 × 1,100 mm and has a rated load capacity of 200 kg for two operators and tools. The anti-slip floor, stainless-steel guardrails, and harness attachment points provide a practical working platform for maintenance and installation tasks at height.
PTO-Driven Hydraulic and Emergency System
A fixed-displacement hydraulic gear pump supplies the aerial equipment at a rated pressure of 16 MPa. Counterbalance valves, hydraulic outrigger locks, and a relief-pressure system help control boom and stabilizer movements, while the manual emergency hand pump allows the platform and boom to be returned to a safe position after loss of engine power.
Dongfeng D7 4×2 Chassis
The Dongfeng D7 chassis uses a 4×2 rear-wheel-drive configuration with a 3,800 mm wheelbase and 6,850 kg GVW. The standard Chaoyang CY4102-E3C Euro III diesel engine produces 91 kW (120 HP) and 340 N·m of torque, while the six-speed manual transmission and heavy-duty leaf-spring suspension provide a practical base for urban aerial work applications.
