The Dongfeng D913 6×4 water tanker truck is designed for road watering, dust suppression, municipal sanitation, landscaping, construction-site water supply, and mine-site operations. Equipped with a 20 m³ water tank and Dongfeng Cummins ISDe230 30 Euro III engine, it combines high water capacity with a heavy-duty chassis for demanding working conditions.
20 m³ Water Tank with Anti-Surge Structure
The tanker is fitted with a 20,000-liter Q235-B carbon steel tank featuring four internal anti-surge baffles. The 5 mm tank shell and curved baffle structure help reduce water movement during acceleration, braking, and cornering, improving stability when operating with different water loads.
High-Flow Self-Priming Water Pump
The Yifeng 60QZ-60/90N centrifugal pump provides a rated flow of 60 m³/h and a head of 90 m. With a self-priming height of at least 6.5 meters and PTO-driven operation, the system can draw water from hydrants, rivers, ponds, reservoirs, and other external sources.
Multiple Water Distribution Functions
The water distribution system supports front road washing, rear spraying, side irrigation, roof sprinkling, and long-distance water cannon operation. The rear water cannon provides 360° rotation and a spray range of at least 35 meters, with selectable straight jet, mist, rain, and fan spray patterns.
Heavy-Duty Dongfeng 6×4 Chassis
Built on the Dongfeng D913 153 platform, the truck uses a 6×4 rear tandem drive configuration with a 25,000 kg GVW. The Cummins ISDe230 30 engine delivers 169 kW (230 hp) and 850 N·m of torque, while the FAST 8JS118 eight-speed manual transmission and heavy-duty drive axles provide suitable traction for construction and unpaved road operations.
Flexible Water Intake and Control Configuration
The tanker includes DN100 water inlet and drain connections, a DN65 fire hydrant connection, two 3-meter suction hoses, and independent water circuit valves. Standard manual controls allow separate operation of front, rear, side, roof, and cannon spraying, while an optional cab-mounted pneumatic valve system enables centralized control.
