Dongfeng 6×4 20 m³ Water Tanker Truck
The Dongfeng 6×4 water tanker truck is designed for water transportation, road washing, dust suppression, municipal cleaning, landscaping, and construction-site water supply. Built on a heavy-duty EQ1250GD3DJ chassis, it combines a large-capacity water tank with a PTO-driven self-priming centrifugal pump and multiple spraying functions for different operating conditions.
20 m³ Water Tank with Anti-Surge Structure
The elliptical tank provides a geometric capacity of 20 m³ and an effective water capacity of approximately 18.5 m³. Constructed from Q235-B carbon steel, the tank uses 4 mm shell plates, 5 mm end heads, and 12 internal anti-surge baffles to reduce liquid movement during acceleration, braking, and cornering.
High-Flow Self-Priming Water Pump
The 80QZ-60/90 centrifugal pump delivers a rated flow of 60 m³/h and a head of 90 meters. Driven through the chassis PTO and universal-joint shaft, the system supports water intake from external sources and provides the pressure required for road spraying, irrigation, and other water distribution functions.
Multi-Function Water Distribution System
The tanker provides independent front, rear, and side spraying functions together with a rear-mounted water cannon. Front nozzles offer a washing width of at least 14 meters, rear spraying reaches approximately 12 meters, and the water cannon provides a throwing range of at least 28 meters with 360° horizontal rotation and adjustable elevation.
Heavy-Duty Dongfeng 6×4 Chassis
The vehicle uses the Dongfeng EQ1250GD3DJ 6×4 chassis and is powered by the Yuchai YC6A240-30 six-cylinder diesel engine, producing 177 kW (240 HP) and 900 N·m of torque. The eight-speed manual transmission, tandem rear drive axles, heavy-duty suspension, and 25,000 kg GVW support loaded operation on construction roads and other demanding routes.
Independent Water Circuit Control
The water system uses DN65 piping and independently controlled valves for the main spraying functions. The rear platform provides access to the water cannon and rear equipment, while the standard configuration can be supplemented with cab-mounted pneumatic controls, electric control systems, or a remote-controlled water cannon for easier operation.
