FAW Tiger V 4×2 5 m³ Water Tanker Truck
The FAW Tiger V 4×2 water tanker is built on the CA1047P40K50L1EA84 chassis and carries an effective 5,000-liter water tank. The configuration combines a compact 3,300 mm wheelbase with a PTO-driven self-priming pump, front flushing, rear spraying, side irrigation, and a rear water cannon for municipal and site water service.
5 m³ Q235B Water Tank with Internal Baffle
The horizontal water tank provides an effective capacity of 5,000 liters and uses 4 mm Q235B carbon steel for the tank body with 5 mm reinforced flat end heads. A central transverse anti-surge baffle with water-passage and vent holes helps reduce liquid movement during vehicle operation.
65QZ Self-Priming Centrifugal Water Pump
The Hangzhou Weilong 65QZ-40/50N pump provides a rated flow of 40 m³/h and a head of 50 m. With a vertical self-priming height of at least 6 m, DN65 inlet, DN50 outlet, and mechanical shaft sealing, the system supports water filling, flushing, irrigation, and spray operations.
Multiple Water Spraying Functions
The spraying system includes adjustable front duckbill nozzles with an 8–12 m flushing width, rear fan-shaped nozzles covering 10–14 m, and side sprinklers for roadside and landscaping irrigation. A 360° rotating rear water cannon provides column, rain, and mist spray modes, with a column spray range of at least 35 m.
Pneumatic and Manual Water Control
The DN50 galvanized main water piping uses flanged connections, a stainless-steel Y-type filter, and four 2-inch manual ball valves. Cab-mounted pneumatic controls allow the driver to operate the water system, while rear manual valve controls provide an additional operating point during field work.
FAW Tiger V Euro III Chassis
The FAW Tiger V chassis uses the DACHai CA4DC2-12E3 3.168-liter four-cylinder diesel engine rated at 88 kW (120 hp) and 320 N·m of torque, matched to a WLY5T32 5-speed manual transmission. The 4×2 chassis features a 4.5-ton rear axle, leaf-spring suspension, dual-circuit air brakes with ABS, and 7.00R16 LT 8PR radial tires.
Protected Tank Platform and Field Safety Equipment
The tank assembly includes a roof safety handrail, left-side anti-slip access ladder, rear checkered working platform, and protected liquid-level gauge. Standard vehicle safety equipment includes side protection, rear underrun protection, red-and-white reflective markings, and rubber isolation pads between the tank subframe and chassis frame.
