SINOTRUK HOWO TX 6×4 12 t Truck-Mounted Crane
The SINOTRUK HOWO TX 6×4 truck-mounted crane is designed for heavy-duty material handling, construction support, equipment loading, and cargo transportation. Built on the HOWO TX ZZ1257N464GF1 chassis, it can be configured with a 12-ton-class straight-boom crane and a range of cargo-body lengths according to wheelbase and crane requirements.
12-ton-Class Telescopic Crane System
The typical XCMG crane configuration provides a maximum rated lifting capacity of 12,000 kg at a 2.5-meter working radius and a rated lifting moment of 300 kN·m. The four-section boom can reach a working radius of approximately 14.8 meters and a lifting height of about 17 meters, with continuous 360° slewing for material handling around the vehicle.
Heavy-Duty Outrigger and Stability System
The crane uses H-type hydraulic outriggers with a front lateral span of approximately 6.2 meters for the 12-ton configuration. Hydraulic locking devices help maintain outrigger position during lifting, while the reinforced chassis frame and suspension are designed to control vehicle movement under heavy crane loads and uneven working conditions.
High-Capacity Hydraulic Power Circuit
The crane hydraulic system operates at a rated pressure of approximately 28 MPa and uses an axial-piston pump with a displacement of about 63 mL/r and hydraulic flow of up to 100 L/min. Counterbalance valves, relief valves, hydraulic locks, and an air-cooled oil cooler support combined boom elevation, telescoping, slewing, and winching operations.
HOWO TX 6×4 Heavy-Duty Chassis
The HOWO TX chassis uses a 6×4 tandem-drive configuration with VGD95 front axle and HC16 rear axles. Domestic configurations use Weichai WP7.320E61 or WP8.350E61 China VI engines, while Euro II and Euro III export powertrains are available, including the SINOTRUK WD615 series. The heavy-duty frame, differential locks, leaf springs, and 11.00R20 or 12.00R20 tires provide strong traction for demanding applications.
Flexible Cargo Transport Configuration
Cargo-body length can be matched to the selected wheelbase, with typical configurations of approximately 6.8, 7.2, or 8.5 meters. The dropside structure uses reinforced steel construction with removable sideboards, allowing the truck to transport machinery, construction materials, steel products, and other irregular cargo while the crane handles loading and unloading.
