Shacman X5000 8×4 SANY Palfinger SPS35000C Truck-Mounted Crane
The Shacman X5000 8×4 truck-mounted crane combines a 31,000 kg GVW heavy-duty chassis with a SANY Palfinger SPS35000C five-section straight-boom crane and an 8.5 m engineering flatbed body. The configuration is intended for cargo transport, self-loading and unloading, construction material handling, and field equipment support.
SPS35000C Five-Section Crane with 35 t·m Lifting Moment
The SANY Palfinger SPS35000C has a rated lifting moment of 35 t·m and a maximum rated lifting capacity of 14,000 kg at a 2.5 m working radius. Its five-section hexagonal boom extends from 5.6 m to 18.5 m, providing a maximum working radius of 18.1 m and a maximum lifting height of 20.5 m at a 75° boom angle.
32 MPa Load-Sensing Hydraulic System
A load-sensing piston pump driven through the crane-specific chassis PTO supplies the hydraulic system at a rated pressure of 32 MPa and a recommended flow of 60–90 L/min. Proportional multi-way controls allow combined boom luffing, telescoping, and slewing movements, supported by high-pressure and return-line filtration and a hydraulic oil cooler.
H-Type Outriggers with 7.25 m Support Span
The crane uses dual-stage front outriggers and rear double-chamber H-type outriggers with a maximum lateral span of 7,250 mm. Independent leveling valves and double-acting outrigger cylinders allow each support to be separately extended, retracted, and leveled, with integrated hydraulic locks for operating security.
Cummins or Weichai Euro III Powertrain
The standard Cummins ISLe350-30 8.9-liter inline-six engine is rated at 261 kW (355 hp) and 1,550 N·m of torque, matched with a FAST 12JSD180TA 12-speed synchronized manual transmission. A Weichai WP10.350E32 350 hp Euro III engine is also available, with both configurations using a dedicated PTO to drive the crane hydraulic pump.
Heavy-Duty 8×4 Chassis and Reinforced Frame
The Shacman X5000 chassis uses two synchronized steering axles and two HanDe 16-ton hub-reduction drive axles with inter-axle and inter-wheel differential locks. Its three-layer 8 mm + 5 mm + 8 mm longitudinal frame is paired with a full-length reinforced crane subframe, progressive leaf-spring suspension, and 12.00R20 18PR all-steel radial tires.
8.5 m Engineering Flatbed Cargo Body
The Q345 steel cargo body provides an internal loading area of 8,500 × 2,450 × 550 mm and uses 3 mm side panels with a 5 mm floor plate. Cold-riveted and welded construction, formed cross-members, cargo tie-down devices, side-board hooks, and rear posts support combined cargo transport and crane handling operations.
Integrated Crane Safety and Operator Controls
Standard crane protection includes audible and visual load-moment warning, winch overwind limitation, hydraulic locks for the outriggers and luffing cylinder, and an emergency stop button. The crane is operated from a center-mounted control position, with wireless remote control available as an option.
