Howo 4×2 Street Sweeper
Howo 4×2 street sweeper is designed for urban and highway cleaning operations. Equipped with a wet-type sweeping system combining mechanical brushes and suction, it delivers efficient debris collection, high cleaning capacity, and reliable performance under diverse working conditions.
Efficient Sweeping System
The vehicle features two hydraulic main brushes (Ø850 mm) made of wear-resistant rubber, and two independent hydraulic side brushes, also Ø850 mm, with automatic obstacle avoidance. Together, they provide a sweeping width of 3.5 meters, ensuring thorough coverage of road surfaces.
Large-Capacity Debris Handling
The 7 m³ debris hopper, capable of handling up to 6.2 tons, features hydraulic tipping and rear door opening ≥50° for easy unloading. Dual-port suction nozzles (Ø180 mm, 2,400 mm wide) are hydraulic and spring-suspended, with replaceable wear plates for extended service life.
Advanced Suction and Water Spray System
A centrifugal suction fan (~70,000 m³/h), powered by a 125 kW auxiliary engine, ensures high debris intake efficiency. The vehicle is equipped with a 9 m³ stainless steel clean water tank and a dual water spray system: high-pressure PF36 pump (154 L/min, 10 MPa) and low-pressure Weilong system (60 m³/h), supplemented by an electric diaphragm pump (15 L/min) for precision dust suppression.
Hydraulic and Control System
The open-circuit electro-hydraulic system operates at 16 MPa with a 60 L tank, using gear pumps, motors, and cylinders to drive brushes, suction, and auxiliary components. The in-cabin DC 24V PLC control system allows real-time operation monitoring, fault display, and safe adjustments during cleaning tasks.
High Cleaning Efficiency
Operating speeds range from 3–20 km/h, achieving a maximum sweeping capacity of 70,000 m²/h. Work lamps, side markers, warning lights, and reverse alarms enhance visibility and safety during urban and highway cleaning operations.
Reliable Chassis and Powertrain
Built on the Howo ZZ1187K501GF1 4×2 chassis, powered by a Weichai WP7H220E62 engine delivering 162 kW (220 hp) and paired with an 8-speed Howo HW95508STC gearbox. The 18,000 kg GVW and 11,670 kg curb weight provide stability and smooth maneuvering.
Tires and Cab Comfort
Fitted with 12R22.5 18PR tires and a 5,000 mm wheelbase, the sweeper ensures stability and traction. The extended Howo HW76 cab offers comfort with ergonomic layout, supporting long-duration cleaning operations efficiently.
