SINOTRUK HOWO Commander 4 m³ Road Sweeper Truck
The SINOTRUK HOWO Commander 4×2 road sweeper truck is designed for urban street cleaning, industrial-area sanitation, factory roads, residential communities, and other paved-surface maintenance. Its four-brush sweeping system, independent auxiliary engine, floating suction nozzle, and 4 m³ waste hopper combine mechanical sweeping with vacuum debris collection in one compact vehicle.
Independent Auxiliary Power for Sweeping
A JMC JX493G3 Euro III auxiliary diesel engine independently drives the suction fan and hydraulic system, allowing the sweeping equipment to operate without taking direct operating power from the chassis engine. The separate power source supports stable low-speed cleaning performance and repeated sweeping cycles.
Four-Brush Mechanical Sweeping System
Four Ø850 mm hydraulic disc brushes are symmetrically arranged on both sides of the vehicle and provide three selectable operating speeds. Spring-buffered obstacle avoidance allows the brushes to retract when contacting curbs or other road obstacles, while hydraulic cylinders raise the brushes during road travel.
Floating Suction and High-Airflow Collection
The centrally mounted floating suction nozzle uses dual suction openings and hydraulic lifting control to follow road-surface changes. A high-pressure centrifugal fan provides an airflow of at least 16,000 m³/h and maintains negative pressure for collecting stones, leaves, road sediment, and other debris.
4 m³ Waste Hopper and Dust Suppression
The 4 m³ waste hopper uses Q235 carbon steel with an optional 304 stainless-steel lining and hydraulic full-body tipping for unloading. A 1.5 m³ clean-water tank supplies atomizing spray nozzles around the brushes and suction nozzle, helping control dust generated during dry sweeping.
HOWO Chassis and Integrated Control
The sanitation chassis uses the Foton Cummins ISF3.8s3141 Euro III engine, producing 105 kW (141 HP) and 450 N·m of torque, with a six-speed manual transmission. An in-cab integrated control panel manages the sweeping system, while hydraulic and electrical protection functions provide operational monitoring during cleaning and unloading.
