The Dongfeng D9 4×2 vacuum sewage suction truck is designed for septic tank cleaning, sewage collection, sludge removal, and municipal wastewater handling. Built on the Dongfeng EQ1185LJ9G3 Euro III chassis, it combines a 10–12 m³ vacuum tank with a PTO-driven vacuum pump and hydraulic tipping system for collection and disposal operations.
Large-Capacity Vacuum Tank
The tank provides an effective capacity of up to 12 m³ and uses Q235B carbon steel with a 5 mm shell and 6 mm front and rear heads. Two internal anti-surge baffles help limit liquid movement during driving, while corrosion-resistant coatings and a 45° hydraulic tipping angle support regular sludge and sewage handling.
High-Vacuum Suction Performance
The standard SK-12 water-ring vacuum pump provides a maximum vacuum of at least -93 kPa and an airflow of approximately 120 m³/h. With DN100 suction piping and an 8-meter reinforced suction hose, the system can handle sewage, septic sludge, slurry, and similar liquid waste from collection points with different access conditions.
Hydraulic Tipping and Rear Discharge
The hydraulic system controls tank tipping and the full opening of the rear door, allowing easier discharge of concentrated sludge and viscous waste. A DN150 bottom discharge valve supports gravity or pressure discharge, while the hydraulic rear door system improves access for unloading and tank cleaning.
Dongfeng D9 Euro III Chassis
The truck uses the Dongfeng EQ1185LJ9G3 4×2 chassis with Euro III engine options including the Cummins ISDe23030 and Yuchai YC6J190-33. The eight-speed FAST manual transmission, heavy-duty leaf-spring suspension, 18,000 kg GVW, and 10.00R20 radial tires provide suitable support for loaded sanitation operations.
Practical Vacuum Protection and Maintenance
The suction system incorporates an air-water separator, oil-water separator, automatic overfill shut-off valve, vacuum pressure gauge, inspection sight glass, and exhaust silencer. These components help protect the vacuum pump from liquid carryover and provide operators with convenient monitoring during suction and discharge operations.
